Dementia Behind Barsby ~Fredrik-Rattzen

Digital Art / Drawings & Paintings / Illustrations / Conceptual

Illustration based on an article about inmates dealing with dementia. Using prison bars as a visual metaphor, I decided to rearrange them in a more confusing pattern. The mist was something I came up with along the way, which helped add to my initial concept.

Yeah, this one was tiresome. I havent been working digitally for like half a year, so I was determined to do this in traditional media from the beginning. But, after several failed attempts, I decided to completely rework it digitally. I'm still trying to find a traditional process that suits my illustration work, but hopefully it's something that'll evolve through the semester. : ) Glad you like it though!
